Newly Elected Board of Directors

On July 9, 2010 an election was held for the 2010-12 Board of Directors.

The Fire Chiefs decided their new leaders would be: Gerald Houle (Pres.) of Chemawawin Cree Nation; Doyle Wilson (VP) of Rolling River First Nation; David Moose (Sec.Tres.) of Nelson House Cree Nation; Christian Edwards of Sagkeeng First Nation; and Dean Cochrane of Peguis First Nation.

Meeting Minutes

Fire Chiefs who participated in this year's Annual General Meeting can expect to receive their copy of the minutes, by July 30, 2010. All Fire Chiefs who are interested, are welcome to call the office to request a copy, after this date.

2010 Regional Competition Winners

There were 15 teams who competed at this year's Regional Competition. Norway House Cree Nation stole the spotlight and scored First Place. Rolling River was Second, and Sagkeeng held on at Third. The rest of the results can be downloaded here.
